YMCA Launches $25,000 Matching Gift Challenge

Following the success of the recent Day of Giving March 5 – which raised over $31,000 – the Door County YMCA announced the launch of a $25,000 matching gift challenge thanks to a pledge from a benevolent donor.

With a remaining target of $126,000 to meet a $602,000 goal by May 31, every dollar donated to the YMCA’s annual campaign within the next 30 days will be matched – doubling the impact of each contribution up to $25,000. 

Contributions support a wide array of programs, from before- and after-school and weight-loss programs to membership scholarships, ensuring inclusivity by removing financial barriers.

Donations can be made in person at the Sturgeon Bay or Fish Creek YMCA branches or through a link at doorcountyymca.org.
