Youth Programming at Peninsula School of Art

Join Peninsula School of Art for its Family Art Day on April 15, 9 am – 12 pm, to celebrate the work of pop-art icon Andy Warhol. This free program is designed for families with children ages 3-17. The final Family Art Day of the season will be held May 20.

A leader in the pop-art movement, Warhol used repetition, bright colors, everyday objects and iconic images to create some of the most widely recognized works of art. Channel your inner Warhol by exploring color and the screenprinting process.

If a child in your life enjoys programs such as Family Art Day, he or she may be interested in applying for a Peninsula School of Art scholarship, available to youth who live in Door County or Kewaunee County full time. The Kathryn A. Doerr Young Artists Fund covers 100% of the tuition for eligible children and teens to attend a summer or fall workshop. The application deadline is May 5, and scholarship recipients will be notified May 22. Learn more and apply at peninsulaschoolofart.org/scholarships.
