Grass Planting
Volunteers will plant beach grass on the south end of Crescent Beach to protect the beach from erosion, create wildlife habitat and prevent the return of invasive plants that were recently removed. Snacks provided. To sign up call 920.487.5480. Rain date: Oct. 28.

Tall Ships Algoma Muster
See the tall ships at full sail and taking part in the Tall Ships Challenge Race. The race will muster off the Crescent Beach shore before sailing to Kenosha. Games and activities for kids. History talks, cannon demos, baby duck, and food sales. For more information, go to algoma.org/tallships.

Shanty Days
The festival, now in its 33rd year, takes place on the shore of Lake Michigan. Parade, car cruise, juried arts and crafts fair, food, music, 5K, beach volleyball tournament, teen stage, pool tournament, fishing contest, fireworks and more.
