As you go through your attics or clean out your parents’ or grandparents’ house, set aside any photos or memorabilia relating to Door County Schools. Documents can be scanned and returned.

Listen to the story of Leonard and Ruth Schmelzer Potier, husband-and-wife members of Door County’s “Greatest Generation.” The Potier family recently donated military memorabilia, which will go on display for the first time. In addition, Ruth and her family members will be on hand to talk about the significance of the collection.

Tour the Pioneer Fire Station. Firefighter and historian David Siegel will explain the workings of the fire engines in the museum collection. Limited space. Call 920.743.5809 to register. Free, but donations appreciated.

For "Mary Jane and the Golden Girls,” commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Green Bay Packers. The Golden Girls were the cheerleading squad from 1959 through 1972. Meet Mary Jane and some of the Golden Girls.
