Kurt Krueger will explain the workings and restoration of the newly restored and acquired 1917 Kahlenberg engine. Author Trygvie Jensen will answer questions on board a commercial fishing tug. Kurt Fosburg is licensed to remove, clean and repair Fresnel lenses and removed the Plum Island light. Free to all Door County Maritime Museum and Friends of Plum and Pilot Island members. $6/general public adult. $3/children.

Opening of the Gills Rock museum under its new name, the Death’s Door Maritime Museum. Also featuring a special statue unveiling to honor Door County’s fishing industry and traditions.
