“Transportation & Aging Services” is Next Topic of Community Health Program

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs with an upcoming presentation on “Transportation & Aging Services” on Jan. 31 at 4 pm at First Baptist Church, Sister Bay. Two major issues for the aging and those with disabilities in our county include transportation and supportive services.

Pam Busch of Door-Tran will discuss transportation options available and their associated costs. Jake Erickson, the Aging and Disabilities Resource Center (ADRC) Aging Program Manager, will summarize supportive services available to keep citizens needing assistance active and engaged in their own well-being within their communities.

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry offers free blood pressure screenings beginning at 5 pm at the monthly Loaves & Fishes Meal on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Rosalia Church, and 8:15 – 10:15 am on the second Tuesday of the month at the YMCA in Fish Creek.
