T.J. Walker DI Team’s Bowl-A-Thon Raises Funds for Habitat for Humanity

The T.J. Walker Middle School sixth grade Destination Imagination (DI) team, the Tri-Cs, held a bowl-a-thon Jan. 23, where they hosted more than 40 bowlers and raised more than $2,500 for Door County Habitat for Humanity. The event was planned and managed by team members Phoebe Bissen, Maggie Stephens, Sam Parenteau, Rylie Nichols, Callie Kraemer, Lily Clement and Scout Feldman as part of their DI Service Learning Challenge. The team will give a presentation explaining and evaluating the experience at the Baylake Regional Tournament on March 5.
