12th Annual Jacksonport Parade

The final plans are underway for the annual Jacksonport Thanksgiving Day Parade, to be held November 27 in downtown Jacksonport beginning at noon. The parade is held to celebrate community spirit, help neighbors in need, and have a good time.

Once again, neighbors will be helping neighbors on Thanksgiving Day, as the hat will be passed to benefit those in need – a family sponsored by Feed My People/Clothe My People.

Jacksonport area veterans will make up the Color Guard to lead off the parade. Any interested area veterans are encouraged to call Jerry Cote at 920.823.2355 if they would like to participate in the parade. Any other parties interested in joining the parade must be at the Jacksonport Ballpark at 11:30 am with an entry. For further information, call 920.823.2075.

Parade Marshall is Barbara Lawton, the Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor, who resides in the township of Clay Banks. Other special guests will include Santa Claus.

The bar will be open at Mike’s Port Pub on Hwy. 57 in downtown Jacksonport from 11 am – 2 pm for parade watchers.
