16th Annual Corn Fest a Success

On Sept. 8, Sunshine House Inc. held its 16th Annual Corn Fest at Schopf’s Hilltop Dairy. The Sunshine House staff thanks the numerous donors, volunteers, clients and attendees who helped make this day a success and helped the Sunshine House continue to serve the community.

Thanks are also extended to Dennis and Roxanne Schopf for the venue and access to the corn maze; the Stone Silo Studios for their DIY projects; the local radio stations and press for spreading the word; the vendors who helped with products (beer, wine, corn, pies); volunteers who baked goodies and/or packaged them for sale, shucked corn and helped at the festival; individuals and donors who gave money or items for raffles, silent auctions or for the festival itself; the musical entertainment; the emcee; the brave souls who participated in the corn eating and pie eating contests; and everyone who attended and made Sunshine House feel appreciated.

Sunshine House Inc. is a diverse community service organization whose purpose is to achieve the full participation in society of people with special needs.
