2015 Door County Fair

This year’s Door County Fair will take place July 29 – Aug. 2 at John Miles County Park, 812 N. 14th Ave., Sturgeon Bay.

Musical acts on the Coors Light Midway Stage will include: Vic Ferrari, Johnny Wad Band, Boogie and the Yo-Yo’z, Hurry Up Wait, Separate Ways, and Let Me Be Frank Productions presents Frank’s All Star Tribute Show.

The Budweiser Grandstand will host five days of action, including Stock Car Racing, the Lena Mini and Modified Tractor Pull, EIS Implement Farm Tractor Pull, Door County Cooperative/NAPA AMA Flat Track Motorcycle Racing, and the Demolition Derby.

Other events are the Horse Drill Team Competition, the Third Annual Firefighter Challenge, the Horse Drill Team exhibition, a Horse Pull, the Gymkhana program (Horse Games), 4-H and Junior Fair competition, and beef and sheep judging.

Tip Top Shows returns with rides from 5 – 11 pm on July 29. For the remainder of the Fair rides will run from noon – 11 pm and Aug. 2 from noon until closing. Kiddie rides shut down at 10 pm each day. The Cellcom Festival Stage will be inside the Merchant’s Building and feature kids’ contests, music, magic, a clown fest, juggling, and more.

Tickets are $11/person before 5 pm and includes rides, musical entertainment, and grandstand events. After 5 pm, the price goes up to $13/person. Discounts will be offered for senior citizens, children 5 and under (who aren’t riding rides), and on opening day fair entry is only $10/person riding rides and $5 for everyone else.
