• Captain Bruce Bishop offers charter sail cruises on the beautiful waters of Door County with Fish Creek’s Friendly Charters.

With 42 years of sailing experience Captain Bruce Bishop is not only an adept captain, but also an adept educator with a wealth of knowledge in Door County maritime history and lore. Each sail is a unique experience, from relaxing to exhilarating.

Friendly Charters departs Fish Creek twice daily: once for a relaxing afternoon sail and again for a captivating sunset cruise setting sail around 6 pm. Each sail explores the breathtaking shorelines, nearby islands, and hidden harbors that make Door County a world-class sailing destination.

The Friendly is a 42-foot schooner that accommodates up to six passengers comfortably for cruises of two to three hours in length.

Also, beginning this summer, Captain Bruce Bishop will offer sailing lessons. The lessons may include up to three students, of any age, and will feature the fundamentals of sailing.

• Julie Henry, owner of Pack and Ship PLUS in Sturgeon Bay, announced the addition of a new FotoZoomer System with a 44-inch Epson Pro Stylus Wide Format Printer.

A FotoZoomer is a self-service full color printing system. The system has the ability to print personal photos from a variety of media (CD, DVD, memory card or actual photograph) and reproduce them into a wide array of sizes at very reasonable prices. With the new printer, customers may create photo enlargements, canvas portraits, posters, banners, blueprints, T-shirt transfers, lawn signs, and more.

Henry hopes to not only provide a fun and creative tool for customers with the new printer, but also for area schools, youth programs, photographers, real estate agents, local retailers, small businesses, hotels, and reception halls as well.
