3rd Annual Parade of Ponds

Door County will be alive with visitors streaming into the well-manicured yards of homeowners throughout the county as Waterscape Designs of Forestville presents the 3rd annual Parade of Ponds on June 28.

With major sponsorship from Baylake Bank and the Mission Grille, proceeds from the event will benefit the Family Centers of Door County Inc. a non-profit organization that provides fun, family entertainment and education for people of all ages throughout the county.

The Parade of Ponds showcases various types of spectacular water features, many created by Waterscape Designs but also by homeowners themselves. The event is a self-guided tour of 10 ponds from Southern Door to Ellison Bay. Gardens will be open from 9 am – 6pm at the following locations:

Southern Door
• Paul & Justine Mancheski / WaterScape Designs – 6981 Geier Road (rural Forestville)
• Gina Wautier / Family Centers Main Office – South 9440 State Hwy 57 (one mile north of Brussels)

Sturgeon Bay
• Mary & Ron Greisen – 1028 S 19th Place (Sturgeon Bay east side)
• Laura & Scot Wederquist – 4390 Bay Shore Drive (Sturgeon Bay east side)
• Door County Master Gardeners / Garden Door – 4312 State Hwy 42, (just north of Sturgeon Bay)

Northern Door
• Dorothea & George Carson – 3820 Sherwood Forest Dr. (near Whitefish Bay boat launch)
• Nathan Nichols & Co. – North 8068 Hwy 57, Baileys Harbor (downtown)
• Mary Ann & Gary Guterman – 10376 N Coral Hill Rd, Ephraim
• Mary & Dennis Fales – 377 Isle View Rd, Ellison Bay
• Diane Morgan & Jack Travis – 448 Isle View Rd, Ellison Bay

The Parade of Ponds is $15 per person with no charge for children 10 and under for a great family outing. The price of admission includes a booklet complete with a restaurant guide, map and concise descriptions to each location on the tour. This serves as your admission to all locations and will allow you to explore at your leisure making this day an affordable gas tank get-away!

Admission passes may be purchased in advance at all Baylake Banks in Door County, Associated Bank (West Side Only), The Family Centers Main Office, WaterScape Designs, Nathan Nichols & Co. and both Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center locations. Credit Card orders are being taken by phone and admission booklets can be mailed.

Participants may purchase admission booklets the day of the event until 3 pm at any of the water feature locations or at the Family Centers Office.
