57th Annual Door County House and Garden Walk Organizers Thank All Involved for Successful Year

The 57th Annual Door County House and Garden Walk, sponsored by the Door County Medical Center Auxiliary, was held July 25, and it was a huge success because of many volunteers. The walk is the signature fundraising event of the auxiliary. Approximately $37,000 was raised from the event, of which the majority will be donated to the Door County Medical Center Dental Clinic. The auxiliary thanks everyone who made the event possible, including homeowners Julia and Steve Chomeau, Cozy and Don Helm, Ann and Mike Johnson, and Julie Neal; the Door County Master Gardeners and The Garden Door; supportive business sponsors; all the ticket outlets; Door County artists Rick Brawner and Dave Hackett; artisans at the Door Artisan Cheese Company; and the more than 140 volunteers who graciously guided walkers through the selected homes and The Garden Door.

The House and Garden Walk organizers said, “We are so fortunate to live in a community that has embraced this walk for 57 straight years. We cannot thank you enough for your support and participation.”
