The cat condo at the Door County Humane Society is now known as “coffee klatch.” That’s where Starbuck, Maxwell, Java and Folger are hanging out, checking out all the visitors to see who’s the right one for each of them. Starbuck, a male black and grey tabby, was born in late May; Maxwell, Folger and their sister Java, are a little older at seven months. All four are from the Town of Gardner, and came to the Humane Society at the end of July.

Nayla loves a good tug-of-war or being brushed. Actually, this extroverted 10-month-old Shepherd/Boxer mix puppy is happy with life and being with people. Her former family was forced to surrender Nayla when they moved. She’s been with small children and adores car rides. Nayla is also a bit of a camera mugger, as our volunteer photographer found out. She posed and danced, having fun every moment. Nayla will be a loyal and loveable ideal family pet for many years to come.
