A Softer Look at Woodwalk

The last primary exhibit, running Aug. 30 – Sept. 30, at Woodwalk Gallery takes a turn toward the softer side of art. The exhibit, A Softer Look, features three artists known to the area. Local artist Ram Rojas, who has treated Door County residents to his impressive murals, now brings grey tone renderings, watercolors and acrylics to convey his flowing style. Wisconsin artist Patt Huss ranges from still life veggies to watery abstracts and Dianne Martia, a familiar teacher at Peninsula School of Art, shows off her skill with oil and cold wax. Her work is modern yet organic, colors without edges.

With this exhibit, visitors can explore a wide range of styles and media and yet see the thread of softness winding through each person’s work. Woodwalk is open 10 am to 5 pm daily and represents more than 70 artists. For more information visit woodwalkgallery.com or email [email protected].
