Activities at the Crossroads

On Sunday, June 13 from 1:30 – 3:30 pm, The Historical Village at The Crossroads at Big Creek will host a “Photo Shoot.” Joe and Laura Knaapen will open their costume trunk and for a $10 donation to the Door County Historical Society, families and/or friends may have their photo taken in vintage costume. Extra copies will be $3 each.

The Cross-Gen class offers two classes in June: “Focus on Fossils,” scheduled for Saturday, June 12 at 2:30 pm, and “Flags…and Other Wildlife Warnings,” scheduled for Monday, June 14 at 10 am. The classes are free, but pre-registration is required. To register, call 920.746.895.

Also on June 14, as apart of the Library’s Summer Reading Program, Crossroads will host young readers (and their families) on a guided Wetland Walk beginning at 1:30 pm. Participants of the program, entitled “Make a Splash – Read,” are encouraged to wear water resistant shoes and attire.

Summer hours for the Collins Learning Center are 1:30 – 3:30 pm daily and during scheduled activities. The Historical Village at The Crossroads will be open 1:30 – 3:30 pm, Sunday through Thursday. Trails are always open to the public. The Crossroads is located at 2041 Michigan Street, Sturgeon Bay.
