ADRC Seeks Input for County’s Aging Plan

During the month of April, The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Door County will be holding several community engagement discussion groups. The purpose of these meetings is to gather public input to ensure a variety of ideas and viewpoints are collected and used to guide the planning process for our upcoming aging plan.

The input process helps provide opportunities for stakeholders to contribute to the decision-making process as well as to learn about the ADRC and the aging plan process.

“Our goal is to identify areas of program improvement and explore creative ways to fill existing service gaps,” said director Jenny Fitzgerald. “This plan is a way to involve community members in the decision-making process. It also helps identify community strengths and weaknesses and creates a vision for the future.”
