Affordable Service Repair is Door County’s newest independent service company that focuses on providing an affordable option for customers in need of service of major appliances, electrical, heating and plumbing repairs with an emphasis on maintaining existing equipment, avoiding expensive replacement and protecting our environment. He plans to work with local dealers if replacement or factory service is needed.

Owner Jerry Kobishop served as lead appliance service technician for Drees Electric in Marinette for 13 years before earning his HVAC engineering associate’s degree and a certificate in industrial electrical maintenance. Kobishop also worked with Wisconsin Public Service. While with the company he served in the natural gas service and street department, automatic meter reading project coordinator, single and three-phase electric meter technician, and a safety trainer in local schools.
