Algoma’s Halloween Walk is Oct. 19 & 20

Every year, Algoma community members and students organize the Halloween Walk for children of all ages. The 13th annual Halloween Walk will take place Oct. 19 and 20, 10 am – 3 pm.

As a nonprofit organization, the Halloween Walk seeks to give children a safe, fun experience as they dress in their Halloween costumes and walk through Algoma High School’s hallways to see their favorite TV and movie characters come to life. This year’s walk will feature characters from Paw Patrol, Star Wars and Toy Story, plus Disney princesses, a walk through Batman’s cave and much more.

After the walk, all are invited to visit the craft area for face painting, temporary tattoos, creative rock coloring and more; the energy zone for a bouncy house, obstacle course and Lego building station; and the concession stand. And take a ride on the train! The cost is $6 per child and $3 per adult. This year, $1 from every child’s admission will go to a local charity.
