All is New at Ride for Nature

The Ride for Nature has announced exciting new features for the 24th annual bicycle ride along the back roads of Northern Door next summer.

A new logo brings a fresh face to the event, which will feature a Metric Century (62 miles) distance for the first time this year. A new website makes finding everything you need to know about the ride and its beneficiary – The Ridges Sanctuary – easier. Visitors to http://www.ridefornature.com will find all the details for the June 16, 2012 event.

The Metric Century is one of several distances available for cyclists of all levels, including the Century (100 mile), 50 mile, 25 mile and Family Ride (15 mile) offerings. Cyclists who might not have the confidence to attempt a full Century during the early portion of the cycling season will now have a more manageable, but still challenging, option to traverse Door County’s scenic back roads.

Registration for the 2012 Ride for Nature opens January 15, 2012. The Ride for Nature, a Peninsula Pacers event, is presented by Door County Living.
