Altrusa Receives $2,000 Grant from International Foundation

Altrusa International of Door County recently was honored with a grant of $2,000 from the International Foundation. This grant will be used for school supplies for the local club’s largest community service project – the Back-to-School Fair, held each August. Grants from the Altrusa International Foundation are available to improve economic wellbeing and quality of life in the community, through commitment to service and literacy. In its 17th year, this project will also provide backpacks, bike helmets, gym shoes, toiletries, school spirit shirts and paid registrations fees to Door County school children of all ages.
