Amish Quilt Sale at Mr. G’s

This year’s Art, Craft and Amish Quilt Sale will be held at Mr. G’s Fernwood Gardens, Oct. 5-8, 9 am – 5 pm. The show will feature over 100 handcrafted Amish quilts for sale. 

The quilts will be displayed on a queen-sized bed and turned regularly by show employees, and an explanation of each quilt will be given as each is presented. Other Amish-made items, like dolls, children’s rockers, hand-painted barn quilts and treats, will be sold at the fair too.

Local artists will also sell their work, including handcrafted brooms by Chris Steinhagen, glass painting by June Grutza, cloth pumpkins by Becky Christianson, baskets by Kathy Plahmer and more. Other items for sale will include fabric, soap, hand-poured candles and seasonal decorations.

Admission is $1 at the door. Children under eight are admitted free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Mr. G’s Fernwood Gardens is located at 5890 state Highway 57 in Sturgeon Bay.
