AMVETS to Hold Town-hall Discussion on June 25

The AMVETS Department of Wisconsin will conduct a town-hall discussion about veterans’ mental health, health care and VA care June 25, 4 pm, at the Sturgeon Bay Library. The event is free to veterans and is expected to last an hour.

Michael Hanke, deputy executive director of the Veterans Assistance Foundation and leader with the AMVETS Department of Wisconsin, will attend. The Foundation provides 16 permanent, low-income apartments for veterans and their families.AMVETS focuses on all aspects of veterans and the communities they serve. AMVETS Post 51 from Sturgeon Bay, led by William Forry, will host the event.
