Amy Frank Appointed Managing Director at TAP

Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) announces the appointment of Amy Frank to the newly created position of managing director. For the past six years, Frank was the Sun Prairie Area School District’s performing arts manager, overseeing all operations for two performing-arts facilities. She was responsible for all administrative and technical functions of nearly 350 events each year, including school-district music concerts, drama productions, public events, community-sponsored rentals and performances by professional artist groups. She also founded the Sun Prairie Arts Alliance, a nonprofit organization to support performing arts in the community.

Before her time at Sun Prairie, Frank worked in arts marketing at the Wisconsin Union Theater, Fort Wayne Philharmonic and Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. She holds a B.A. in arts management from St. Norbert College and an M.A. in arts administration from St. Mary’s University. She is also a PRESETT-certified high school theater manager. Frank will join the TAP staff on Feb. 4.
