Annual Angel Ball Canceled

Because of concerns for the health and welfare of the community, the Door County Medical Center Auxiliary has canceled its annual December Angel Ball – one of its main fundraising events. The auxiliary awards 100 percent of the donations from this popular event to graduating high school students who are planning to pursue a health care profession and current students who are continuing their education in health care.  

“If we don’t find other avenues to solicit donations, we won’t be awarding these much-deserved and badly needed scholarships in 2021,” said Cheryl Wederquist, the auxiliary’s president-elect.
