Annual Celebrity Golf Outing Set for June 10

The Boys & Girls Club of Door County has announced plans to host their fifth Annual Celebrity Golf Outing to be held at the Horseshoe Bay Golf Club in Egg Harbor on June 10. The celebrity golf outing is a major fundraiser for the Club. Celebrities who have committed are Bob Harlan, Mark Murphy, Jerry Kramer, Dave Robinson, Doug Hart, Marti Spittell-Ziegelbauer, Chris Greisen, Joel Pryzbilla and Harry Sydney.

The event will be limited to 128 golfers and consist of 18 holes of golf, lunch, dinner, prizes, a live auction and four hole-in-one contests. Prizes for the hole-in-one contests are a car, a Harley Davidson motorcycle, a Yamaha ATV and $5,000 in cash.

“Not only will the participants in this event be rubbing shoulders with some well known celebrities but it will help raise over $50,000 for the Club,” said Julie Davis, CPO of the Boys & Girls Club of Door County. “The golf outing and the publicity surrounding the event helps raise awareness of what the Club means to the youth of our community. Last year the Club served over 300 young people.”
