Mr. Helsinki Restaurant and Wine Bar will be featuring works from Chicago artist Ken Koplack during the month of August. His work will be up from August 1 until August 31, with an opening reception on August 6 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Hors d’oeuvres will be served and Mr. Helsinki’s bar will be open. The restaurant will also be open during the reception for those wishing to order from the menu.
Koplack is a retired Chicago Public School Art teacher whose work has been featured in many shows in Chicago as well as the New York area. His work is featured in Chicago Art Scene 2000 and Published Gallery (2009), both hard covered publications presenting accomplished Chicago, national, and international artists.
Koplack is a familiar face in the Door County art scene, having taught adult and children art classes at the Peninsula Art School in Fish Creek during the summers.
