Author of ‘Seek You’ to Sign Books at Novel Bay

Kristen Radtke, the author of Seek You: A Journey through American Loneliness – a first-of-its-kind nonfiction graphic novel focusing on loneliness – has created a buzz in the literary world. She will sign books and talk with readers Aug. 6, 3-4 pm, at Novel Bay Booksellers, 44 N. 3rd Ave. in Sturgeon Bay. Her parents own Clark Lake Farm in Door County.

Seek You is a wide-ranging exploration of our inner lives and public selves, with Radtke delving into the ways in which we attempt to feel closer to one another and the distance that remains. Through the lenses of gender and violence, technology and art, she ushers us through a history of loneliness and longing, and shares what feels impossible to share.

This hybrid graphic narrative has earned accolades for its stunning, poignant meditation on loneliness in a form that defies categorization and reaches beyond the pandemic’s pervasive loneliness.
