AutumnFest in Baileys Harbor

Are you a car buff? Do you have a car, truck or motorcycle you’d like to show off? Attend Baileys Harbor’s Classic Car Show – part of AutumnFest – on Sept. 28, 9 am – 3 pm, when trophies will go to People’s Choice, Best in Show, Emergency Vehicle, Louie Oldenburg Best Motorcycle and Top Vehicle in each category. Register for the car show by downloading the form at BaileysHarbor.com or in person Sept. 28, 9-11 am. 

Also enjoy AutumnFest’s arts and crafts, food and drinks, and a book sale at the library. Meet the pin-ups during the Pin-Ups and Pistons photo shoot, and listen to live music by Hillbilly Casino, 11 am – 3 pm. 

The day will begin with the annual Hey Hey 5K run at 8 am, when runners will receive a race T-shirt, Hey Hey 5K Door County Brewing Co. pint glass and a free beer from the brewery. The run starts and ends at the brewery. 

And be at Maxwelton Braes on Friday, Sept. 27, for a Speakeasy Casino Night: a fundraiser for the Ellie Helm Foundation. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.; tables will open at 7 pm. The cost of $25 per person in advance or $30 at the door includes admission, start-up cash and bar snacks, with food available for purchase.

Sunday, Sept. 29, will bring the weekly farmers’ market to the town hall lawn, 9 am – 1 pm.
