Ballot Order for Democratic Governor Primary

On June 6 staff with the Wisconsin Election Commission conducted a live streaming drawing of candidate names for the order of their listing in the Aug. 14 primary, which is especially important for the historically crowded field of 10 Democratic candidates for governor. Milwaukee businessman Andy Gronik won the first position, followed by Matt Flynn, Tony Evers, latecomer Josh Pade, Mike McCabe, Mahlon Mitchell, Kelda Roys, Paul Soglin, Kathleen Vinehout and Dana Wachs. On the Republican side, incumbent Scott Walker will appear first on the ballot, followed by challenger Robert Meyer.
