Benefit from the Practice of Tai Chi

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry continues its Community Health Information Programs (CHIPs) with an upcoming presentation on “Tai Chi.” Come hear Don Pardonner and Judy Reninger speak at the next CHIP Program on April 19 at 4 pm at the First Baptist Church in Sister Bay. Don and Judy have practiced Tai Chi for many years, and teach its practice locally twice a week. There is a body of evidence that Tai Chi is one of the best practices for enhancing flexibility and improving balance. It’s an integrated exercise system for mind and body, an effective way to reduce stress, avoid tension and develop spiritual strength and creativity.

Northern Door Health & Wellness Ministry also offers free blood pressure screenings beginning at 4:30 pm at the monthly Loaves & Fishes Meal on the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Rosalia Church. For more information visit NorthernDoorHealthWellness.com.
