Big Heart Award Applications Open Until March 15

The Children’s Cancer Family Foundation (CCFF) is accepting applications for its 2019 Big Heart Award: one-time grants of $1,000 each for three northeast Wisconsin students (age 18 and younger) who demonstrate a strong commitment to helping children with cancer.

CCFF’s board will choose the scholarship recipients based on submitted essays in which applicants tell why they have a passion to help children with cancer and share the activities they have been involved in that support pediatric cancer patients and survivors.

The $1,000 awards are to be used to help the recipients carry out their mission of helping pediatric cancer patients. Students must submit their applications by March 15. The recipients will be announced at CCFF’s Gold Ribbon Gala on May 10.
