Birch Creek Names New Executive Director

The Birch Creek Board of Directors announces the appointment of Alan Kopischke as the new Executive Director. Board President Jane Berg commented, “On behalf of the Birch Creek Board of Trustees, we are thrilled to welcome Alan Kopischke as our new Executive Director. He brings extensive experience in non-profit arts management and enthusiastic participation in the Door County community.”

Most recently, Kopischke was with Peninsula Players where he spent 12 seasons, six of which he served as Development Director.

Kopischke says, “I’m thrilled to join Birch Creek and its great team, helping to nurture talented young musicians through its rigorous, professional instruction. I’ve long admired Birch Creek and look forward to building on its many great strengths and successes.”
