Blue Horse Beach Cafe ended the reign of a dynasty in convincing fashion Wednesday on the County A volleyball courts in Fish Creek.
Woody Heidler had led P.C. Junction to four straight Northern Door Volleyball League championships heading into this season. After earning the third seed in the league playoffs this year, P.C. Junction battled back to the title game, where the team fell 2-1 to Blue Horse.
Davoy Palmer and Clifton Clarke led the way for Blue Horse, which also claimed the regular-season title.
Husby’s topped the Mink for third place; Roots finished fifth; and Cream ’n the Bowl finished sixth.
In the lower bracket, Craig Robinson Explosion defeated Lakeshore Adventures.
