Boys Basketball: Eagles Seeded No. 2 in D3

Southern Door’s boys basketball team has received a No. 2 seed and an opening-round bye in its WIAA Division 3 regional tournament. The Eagles will open the tournament at home with a semifinal game March 1 against the winner of the Feb. 27 quarterfinal game between No. 7-seeded Peshtigo and No. 10 seeded Oconto Falls. 

The other half of the regional bracket includes a quarterfinal game Feb. 27 with No. 6-seeded Sturgeon Bay hosting No. 11-seeded Menominee Indian. The winner advances to the semifinal game March 1 at No. 3-seeded Clintonville.

The semifinal winners will play for the regional championship March 2, with the highest remaining seed hosting that game.
