Boys Basketball: Vikings Defeated in Menominee

Having already closed out its Packerland Conference schedule for the season, Gibraltar’s boys basketball team played a non-league game Thursday in Menominee, Michigan, where the Vikings lost to the Maroons, 54-24.

Braden Sitte was the only Gibraltar player to score in double figures with 10 points.

The Vikings, who are 2-14 in the conference and 5-18 overall, wrap up the regular season at home Saturday afternoon with a non-league game against Hilbert.

Gibraltar received a No. 12 seed in its WIAA Division 5 regional tournament and will play its quarterfinal game Feb. 27 at No. 5-seeded Florence.
