Brett Newski, Small Forest at Woodwalk July 5

Continue celebrating Independence Day on July 5 with Brett Newski’s Midwestern indie folk rock at Woodwalk Gallery in Egg Harbor. This internationally touring artist will add some musical fireworks to the stage with his high-energy, yet thoughtful performing abilities.

Though he usually travels with his band, he’ll be performing solo.

About his new album, Life Upside Down, Newski said, “Everyone is under the thumb of something: anxiety, toxic relationships, self-bullying, a miserable job, the list goes on. Life Upside Down is an album about turning life right side up. It’s about getting free from the worst enemy of all: thyself.” Woodwalk concerts start at 7 pm, with house band Small Forest opening. Tickets are $20 cash at the door.
