Broomball Kicks Off

The ice finally came in and the Northern Door Broomball League kicked off play Jan. 23. Games are played every Wednesday night through February. First game begins at 6 pm.

JJ’s fell to Yachtworks opening night.

Week 1 Results

Blue Horse broke a 0 – 0 game wide open in the second half, kicking around the Pulse (without three of last year’s top players – rumored to have been kicked out of the league for using HGH) to the tune of five scores.

In the night’s second tilt, Horseshoe Bay did not play, and the league’s higher-ups say there may be a makeup game in the works, as they expect them to have a team together next week. Yachtworks felled JJ’s in the evening’s final battle, 8 –1.

If you are still interested in playing (see pop-out) there is talk of adding a seventh team to the slate, so strap on your boots and hit the rink Wednesday night.
