By the Numbers: America’s Declining International Image

A recent Pew Research Center survey finds international opinion of President Donald Trump’s America at historic lows in many countries polled, especially among key allies.

However, when broken down by religion, 94 percent of Israeli Jews have a favorable opinion of Trump’s America while only 43 percent of Israeli Arabs feel the same way. There was also a major divide in political leanings – 94 percent of right-leaning Israelis approve of Trump’s America while only 57 percent of the left-leaning populace agrees. Pew said that was true in all countries, but the Israeli 37-percentage point difference was the largest ideological divide in the survey.
