Call for Artists for Sled Dogs ‘Art Paws’ Event

Door County Sled Dogs (DCSD) invites artists to participate in a Memorial Day weekend Art Paws Art Fair on May 27 at its Education and Discovery Center in Ephraim. Both 2D and 3D artists are encouraged to take part in this outdoor exhibit opportunity. The Discovery Center will be open to the public and the sled dogs will be present for a meet and greet.

Artists will be responsible for their exhibit setup, all sales transactions of their artwork, and cleanup of their space. There is space for up to 20 artists on the Discovery Center grounds. The center will be available for exhibit space setup starting at 8 am on May 27. The art fair will be open to the public beginning at 11 am and will close by 5 pm. The DCSD will not charge a commission on sales but a $15 entry fee will be charged to cover costs for opening the facility and overseeing the exhibit.

The DCSD Education and Discovery Center is located at the corner of Hwy 42 (Water Street) and Bella Vista Lane in north Ephraim. To apply for exhibit space, contact David Skidmore by April 15 at [email protected].
