Cedar Hill Associates Presents $2,000 Check to Door County Habitat for Humanity

Cedar Hill Associates recently presented Door County Habitat for Humanity with a $2,000 check to help further the mission of helping families into decent and affordable homes. Larry Brunette spearheaded the arrangements for the donation. Door County Habitat for Humanity was created in 1993 and the first house was finished in 1994. Since then, 40 new homes have been built. The homes are sold to the families they are built for with a zero-interest mortgage. In addition to the home builds, Door County Habitat for Humanity also does critical home repairs for families in need, including building accessibility ramps, roof repairs, and painting projects that would be otherwise unaffordable for families.  Donations such as the one from Cedar Hill Associates provides the funding for those projects until the families can repay the material costs.
