Celebrate the Season at DCMM

Joyously celebrate the holidays by enjoying dozens of beautifully decorated Christmas trees scattered throughout the Door County Maritime Museum’s galleries during the Merry-Time Festival of Trees through Dec. 9. Lovingly decorated by local businesses and organizations, each of these trees is adorned with ornaments and special surprises. Best of all, every tree will go home with a winner in the Merry-Time Festival of Trees raffle.

Events during the festival include:

• Nov. 29: 10:30 am – 3:30 pm – Pirate Day, enjoy the pirate exhibit, crafts and games; 9:30 am and 11 am – book signing and story time with Carol Davis and Jan Rasmussen, author and illustrator of The Night Before Christmas.

• Dec. 6: 10 am – 1 pm, Santa on the tugboat John Purves, only two adults can accompany each child; 10 am – 4 pm, DOOR CANcer Holiday Home Tour, tickets are $30 and are available at the museum.

• Dec. 9: 5:30 – 8:30 pm, Jingle, Jingle, Mix & Mingle, enjoy a heavy hors d’oeuvres buffet, a silent auction of unique or holiday items and the Merry-Time Festival of Trees raffle drawing. Tickets are $15 for members and $25 for guests. Advanced reservations are required, call 920.743.5958.
