Celebration for Imagination Library on Dec. 14

The Door County Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library celebrates the completion of its first year in December 2019. The program was launched by the Door County Partnership for Children and Families (DCPCF), a program of United Way of Door County, in Dec. 2018. In the first year, the program has surpassed expectations with more than 600 Door County children registered for the program.

To celebrate its success and to honor those who have already graduated from the program, the DCPCF and the Door County Library will host an Imagination Library first birthday party on Dec. 14, 1-2 pm at the Sturgeon Bay branch of the Door County Library.The Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a free book-gifting program for young children. Children ages birth to five who are registered for the program receive a new, age-appropriate and high-quality book in the mail each month. For more information, visit doorcountyparents.com.
