Ceramic Trunk Show at Artzy Studio

Ceramics will be the highlight of a two-day show at Artzy Studio on Oct. 7 & 8, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm. There will be demonstrations on pressing lace into clay and other hand-building techniques by Cynthia L. Koshalek.

Koshalek has been teaching and working in ceramics for more than 30 years. She uses a special technique for creating vases and bowls wrapped in lace patterns. Each piece is glazed and fired with the lace designs enhancing the finished artwork. Her ceramics have become a family affair as her mother often crochets lace pieces especially for her work. A variety of ceramics will be featured at the trunk show.
