Champeau’s Pioneer Gallery Features Award-winning Paintings

“Jenny Tan” by William Schneider won first place in the Chicago Pastel Painters’ Fourth Biennial Juried Exhibition.

William Schneider, an award-winning artist working in oil and pastel, is currently displayed at Champeau’s Pioneer Gallery.

Schneider travels around the country teaching workshops, and taking part in competitions and exhibitions. Some of his notable paintings are “Jenny Tan,” “Russian Oligarch,” and “Alone in Warsaw.”

“Jenny Tan,” won first place in the Chicago Pastel Painters’ Fourth Biennial Juried Exhibition; Bill Hosner was the Juror of Awards.

“Russian Oligarch” was awarded Second Place in the Oil Painters of America Online Showcase; Don Dernovich was the judge.

“Alone in Warsaw” received second place in the Laumeister Fine Art Competition at the Bennington Art Center in Vermont. Scott Christensen was the Juror of Awards.
