Children’s Day in Ephraim Scheduled for July 15

The 18th Annual Children’s Day in Ephraim is set for Wednesday, July 15 from 8 am  – 12:30 pm at Ephraim Historical Foundation’s Anderson Barn History Center.

The theme for this year’s half-day event is “Old Time Fun in Ephraim.” Children between the ages of 6 – 11 will enjoy activities that are reminiscent for their grandparents but refreshing and fun for children. Participants will learn how to make sock puppets, create quilt design note cards, paint mini-canvasses at the Hardy Gallery and play old-fashioned games such as sack racing and egg tossing.

The event takes place rain or shine at the Anderson Barn History Center. Check-in for Children’s Day is at 8 am, and parents/guardians should pick up their children at 12:30 pm. Advance registration is suggested as space for the event is very limited, with the cost of participation being $18/child. The fee includes snacks, a Children’s Day t-shirt, and all craft activities. A snack will be provided around 10 am, and children should eat breakfast before they arrive for the event.
