“Child’s Play: Tales & Crafts” Is Back

Child’s Play is back for another summer at the Anderson Barn History Center in Ephraim. Don’t miss this great summer activity for children, grandchildren, and visiting friends (ages four to eight) organized by teacher and long-time Ephraim Historical Foundation volunteer Barbara Fox.

The four sessions take place on Tuesdays at 10:30 am at the Anderson Barn History Center. Children will read a book and then make a craft that corresponds to the book. The 2008 Child’s Play schedule is as follows:

•July 1: book – Grandma Drove the Garbage Truck; craft – 4th of July Patriotic Visors

•July 15: book – Trouble with Trolls; craft – Summer Trolls

•July 29: book – Pele and the Rivers of Fire; craft – Palm Tree Centerpiece

•August 5: book – Berlioz the Bear; craft – Bears with Magnets

Advance registration for Child’s Play is encouraged, as the sessions fill up quickly. The charge is $5 per session per child. The sessions last approximately one hour.
