Clippers Rout Red Devils in Boys Hoops

Sturgeon Bay’s boys basketball team held a nine-point halftime lead before winning its non-conference game Monday at Green Bay East, 74-49.

The Clippers, who outscored the Red Devils 45-29 in the second half, were led by Calvin Richard with a game-high 23 points. Garrett Ulberg added 14 points, with Danny Lodl scoring 13 more.

Greg Denny led Green Bay East with 17 points. Quincy Shields added 11 points.

Sturgeon Bay, which improved to 6-5 overall and is 3-2 in the Packerland Conference, next plays a non-conference game Thursday at Seymour before Friday’s Packerland home game against Gibraltar.
