Coffee and Conversation about Aging in Door County

Do Good Door County will host a series of free coffee-and-conversation events to give community members a chance to discuss the challenges and opportunities of aging in Door County. Coffee and light refreshments will be served.

Each event will run 10-11 am, and again 2-3 pm, on these dates in these places: April 6 at the Door County Economic Development Center, 185 E. Walnut St. in Sturgeon Bay; April 11 at NWTC, 2438 S. Bay Shore Dr. in Sister Bay; April 19 at the Sevastopol Town Office, 4528 Hwy 57; and April 27 at the Northern Door YMCA, 3866 Gibraltar Road in Fish Creek.

“We are excited to bring this series of events to Door County,” said Cynthia Germain, president of Do Good Door County. “We learned a lot about what we need to stay in the place that we call home through the age-in-place survey. Now we want to share how to meet those needs specific to each area of Door County. We hope these events will offer an opportunity to talk about potential solutions and give community members a space to connect and share their thoughts and experiences.”
