Colonel Recognized for Contribution

Colonel Tim Lawrie, owner of Simon Creek Winery, was recently presented with a letter of recognition for his contribution of $1,000 to the Wounded Warriors in Action Foundation. The letter of recognition was presented by Joseph Heilman, chairman of the Door County Veterans Service Council. The money was raised from donations received at the winery during the past months. Simon Creek Winery is continuing to collect donations for another contribution in the future.
